Keep your Chakras Aligned to Achieve Total Wellness

You may be hearing or reading some info about chakras. They serve as energy fields in our body. However, in times they are not in balance, our body can be definitely affected. And since they are connected with each other, once you’ve got physical ailment, your mental health will be weak.

Here are some signs that your chakras are out of balance:

Root Chakra

Root chakra is located at the base of your spine, directly at your tailbone. This is the chakra to bring stable energy from the earth. When it is in balance, you are feeling supported and connected for safety on the physical world (examples are providing life’s necessities).

When you have problems such as pain in the legs, feet, tailbone, rectum, reproductive organs and immune system, then there might be imbalances in your root chakra. Also included are sciatica, constipation and eating disorders. In addition emotional stress such as problems with money, food, and shelter can be connected with this chakra as well.

Sacral Chakra

This chakra is located just two inches below the navel.

This attached us to our commitment to our relationships, expressing relationships, pleasures and creativity.

Commonly, imbalances of this chakra include urinary tract problems, pelvic and hip issues, kidney ailments and lower back pain.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This can be found 3 inches above the navel.

This is the chakra that links to self-compassion and self-respect. When it’s out of balance, physical problems will be experienced such as stomach ulcers, high blood pressure, colon problems and gall bladder issues. Emotionally, you can feel rejections and inner critics about how do we look.

Heart Chakra

The chakra which is located at the heart.

Physically, you can find out its imbalance for aliments such as heart diseases, upper back and shoulder pain, wrist pain, and asthma.
Emotionally, imbalances relate to feelings such as jealousy, anger, loneliness and bitterness.

Throat Chakra

This chakra is located at the throat.

The physical imbalances associated with the throat chakra include thyroid issues, sore throats, laryngitis, TMJ, ear infections, ulcers, any facial problems (chin, cheek, lips, and tongue problems) and pain of the neck and the shoulder.

Imbalances on emotion include issues of expressing self through written and oral communication.

When there is a balance on the throat chakra, there is a continuous flow of communication.

Third Eye Chakra

The third eye chakra is located in between the eyebrows, in the center of the forehead.

Imbalances include headaches, blurry vision, issues on the sinus, eyestrain, seizures, hearing loss and hormone function.

The emotional imbalances attached on third eye chakra include mood swings, volatility and self reflection; failure to recognize one’s fears and to learn from others.

To see the big picture is the lesson of this chakra.

Crown Chakra

This chakra is located at the top of the head.

The physical imbalances include depression, lack of ability to learn new things, and high sensitivity to light, sound and environment.

Imbalances on emotions are commonly due to unbending thoughts on religion and spirituality, being constantly confused, carrying prejudices and over-analyzing a situation.

Mindful living is the lesson of this chakra.

Now, you may feel that there is more than one of your chakra that is imbalanced or blocked. The best way to balance them is to begin at the root chakra and work your way up to the crown chakra. When your chakras are aligned, you’ll achieve the physical and emotional balance you need for your total well being.
